![]() ![]() I'll link some pictures of Hylics to help with what I'm talking about. Thank you so much for even just clicking this post if you don't have advice and any help would be greatly appreciated. ![]() I'm sure it has but haven't found the thread. Tell me if I'm not being clear enough, sorry if this has been posted. I'm aware that if you put an "!" next to the name it lets them be bigger, but what tutorials I've found seem to focus mainly on making large boss type sprites, that sit in the path of the player. We just wanted to know if there are any plugins designed for using larger than 48x48 sprites as characters. But, all characters still only have 32x32 collision (takes up one tile), so it centers player sprites x-wise, but keeps them on the lowest tile possible and lowest pixel on that tile y-wise. We don't have a set size of sprite to use just yet. Character sprite sheets just need to be in a 2 by 3 ratio in XP, so 32x48, 64x96, etc. I watch a lot of plugin tutorials and have looked through the forums with a search but I'm not quite finding it. We want to do something along the lines of Hylics, where it appears the sprites are larger and then use parallax to draw the map out then set boundaries with something like Yanfly's region restriction. I'm wondering what would be the best possible route to do this or even if we are using the best version of RPG Maker for this. We can probably work with that if we use vector graphics scaled down. I see that the regular size requirement is 48x48. We are trying to use custom made characters in MV but we are using digital tablets to draw them. ![]()
